Meters are read and billed in January, March, May, July, September and November, approximately every 60 days.

SCHEDULE OF RATES AND FEES

(Section References to the District’s Policies, Rules and Regulations)

1. Water Rates (Sec. 2.2)

     A.    RESIDENTIAL

$5.06 per thousand gallons up to 10,000 gallons per billing cycle (bimonthly period), subject to a 32,000 gallon ($161.88) annual minimum, administered as a $26.98 bimonthly minimum charge. After 10,000 gallons per billing cycle, rates per thousand gallons per billing cycle are as follows:

     $ 6.06 per thousand gallons from 11,000 to 15,000 gallons

     $ 7.56 per thousand gallons from 16,000 to 20,000 gallons

     $ 9.56 per thousand gallons from 21,000 to 25,000 gallons

     $12.06 per thousand gallons from 26,000 to 30,000 gallons

     $15.06 per thousand gallons over 30,000 gallons

 

      B.   COMMERCIAL

$5.06 per thousand gallons up to 10,000 gallons per billing cycle (bimonthly period), subject to a 32,000 gallon ($161.88) annual minimum, administered as a $26.98 bimonthly minimum charge. After 10,000 gallons per billing cycle, rates per thousand gallons per billing cycle are as follows:

     $ 6.06 per thousand gallons from 11,000 to 15,000 gallons

     $ 7.56 per thousand gallons from 16,000 to 20,000 gallons

     $ 9.56 per thousand gallons from 21,000 to 25,000 gallons

     $12.06 per thousand gallons from 26,000 to 30,000 gallons

     $15.06 per thousand gallons over 30,000 gallons

 

 

     C.   GOVERNMENT

$11.38 per thousand gallons up to 10,000 gallons per billing cycle (bimonthly period), subject to a 32,000 gallon ($364.14) annual minimum, administered as a $60.69 bimonthly minimum charge. After 10,000 gallons per billing cycle, rates per thousand gallons per billing cycle are as follows:

     $12.38 per thousand gallons from 11,000 to 15,000 gallons

     $13.88 per thousand gallons from 16,000 to 20,000 gallons

     $15.88 per thousand gallons from 21,000 to 25,000 gallons

     $18.38 per thousand gallons from 26,000 to 30,000 gallons

     $21.38 per thousand gallons over 30,000 gallons

 

 

2. Late Payment Fee, (Sec. 4.2.3)

The greater of $5.00 per billing period or 1% per month on outstanding balance

3. Inclusion Fee, (Sec. 2.3.1.1)

$18,500.00, per tap, per lot

4. Exclusion Fee

Exclusion Fee will be a standard administrative fee of $800 plus attorneys fees and actual costs.

5. Tap Fee, (Sec. 7.2.3)

$25,000.00

6. Tap Permit Fee, (Sec. 2.3.2)

$500.00 includes setting of meter and inspection(s)

7. Returned Payment Handling Fee, (Sec. 4.2.2)

$25.00 per occurrence

8. Inactive Tap Fee, (Sec. 2.1.1.1.2, 2.1.2)

Assigned, Unconnected: $150.00

Unassigned: $300.00

Annual fee, administered as $25.00 / $50.00 bimonthly charge

9. Tap Transfer Fee, (Sec. 2.3.6)

$50.00 per occurrence

10. Turn Off Fee (Sec. 2.3.3, 2.3.4 and 4.2.4)

$50.00 per occurrence.

11. Turn On Fee (Sec. 2.3.3, 2.3.4 and 4.2.4)

$50.00 per occurrence

12. Right of Entry, Safe Passage and Meter Access (Sec. 3.2.3 and 3.2.4)

$20.00 per occurrence, doubled for each additional infraction for failure to allow Right of Entry and Safe Passage.

$20.00 per occurrence, doubled for each additional infraction for failure to allow Meter Access.

13. Meter Tampering Fee (Sec. 6.1)

$200.00 per occurrence plus additional charges per policy

14. Reassignment Fee, (Sec. 2.3.5)

$500.00 Residential, $1,000.00 Commercial

15. Meter Test Fee Deposit, (Sec. 3.2.5)

$250.00 deposit, returned if meter is found to be faulty

16. Unauthorized Tap Connection Fee, (Sec. 6.2)

One and one-half times the current Tap Fee plus additional charges per policy

17. Hydrant Use (or Other Water) Permit Fee, Deposit and Unauthorized Use Penalty (Sec. 7.3.1)

$75.00 Application Fee

$200.00 deposit to be applied to billed charges as specified in the Permit. $500.00 penalty for unauthorized hydrant or water use, doubled for each additional infraction.

18. Hydrant Installation Permit Fees (Sec. 7.3.2)

$500.00 fee to be submitted with application to install a new or replacement hydrant. If permit is granted, no additional inspection fees shall apply. Engineering fees are additional, if applicable.

$1,000 fee for installing hydrant without a permit.

19. Cross-Connection Fees (Sec. 5.3.5)

$75 Inspection Fee (Sec.5.3.5.1)

$150.00 for Failure to Submit Backflow Test Results Fee, per occurrence (Sec.5.3.5.2)

20. Lien Filing Fee (Sec. 4.2.6)

$250.00 per occurrence
