Notice of Water Restrictions and Rate Change

By Order of Lookout Mountain Water District Board

Drought Conditions Forecasted for this Season in Beaver Brook Watershed and Drainage Basin

Effective May 1, 2012, all customers are to restrict outdoor watering to no more than two days per week, until further notice. Additional conservation measures are encouraged on a voluntary basis. An additional rate tier will apply for usage over 35,000 gallons per billing cycle, effective May 26th (other tiers and rates and minimum charge remain unchanged).

For usage over 35,000 gallons, rate per thousand gallons:

·         Residential/Commercial now $20.06 (was $15.06)

·         Tax Exempt now $26.38 (was $21.38)
